Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Firenzi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Day paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Day throws out a counter right but Firenzi avoids it with no problem.
Day looks to land a left hand but Firenzi moved out of range nicely.
Firenzi misses with a looping left.
Day swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Firenzi misses with a few strikes there.
Day swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Firenzi moves to clinch but Day breaks away
and Firenzi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Day misses with a straight right.
Firenzi swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Day cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A low kick from Firenzi is predictable there
and Day counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Firenzi is rocked!
Day has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Firenzi is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Firenzi pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Day back to the cage. Firenzi follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Oh Firenzi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Firenzi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Day counters with a nice body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Firenzi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Day counters with a stiff right hand.
Firenzi misses with a hook
and Day scores with a counter punch that sends Firenzi to the canvas! Day smells blood - he's punishing Firenzi with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Firenzi has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
