Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lauren Castaneda (ranked 24541 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romero Torres (ranked 5118 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castaneda avoids the head kick by Torres.
Castaneda is looking to clinch.
Torres will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Castaneda tries to close the distance and clinch but Torres swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Torres. Those never looked like landing.
Castaneda throws a nice outside leg kick.
Castaneda misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Torres.
Torres moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Torres fails to pull guard.
Castaneda is trying to break the clinch but Torres is controlling him.

Torres trying to move into half guard but instead Castaneda has managed to sweep!

Castaneda makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Torres is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Torres utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Torres working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Castaneda has passed into half guard!
Torres looks like he's trying to stand up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Castaneda is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Castaneda scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Torres is looking for a sweep. Castaneda is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Torres has hold of Castaneda's hands but Castaneda slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Torres on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Nice strikes from Castaneda there.
Castaneda controlling the action here.
Torres really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Castaneda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Castaneda prevents Torres from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Castaneda is taking a breather. Torres says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Castaneda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Castaneda frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Castaneda lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Torres hang on?
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Torres is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Torres looks winded!
Castaneda looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Torres is bucking up trying to escape but Castaneda cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Torres wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Castaneda is working for a guillotine from mount but Torres frees his head quite easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Torres wants to hold on but Castaneda pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lauren Castaneda dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Torres forces Castaneda back against the cage and clinches.
Torres gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Castaneda manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Castaneda tries to clinch up but Torres circles away and keeps his distance.
Castaneda is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Torres can do to turn this around?
Castaneda slips under a jab.
Romero Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torres closes the distance and clinches.
Castaneda has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Torres uses from the top position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Castaneda lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Torres throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Castaneda escapes and throws Torres's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Torres looking for a sweep but Castaneda has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Castaneda pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Castaneda lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Castaneda cracks Torres with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Castaneda throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Torres has his hands clasped together but Castaneda breaks the hold and Torres is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Castaneda!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lauren Castaneda!
