Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Akihiro Gomi (ranked 3508 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Credible (ranked 2545 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi throws a head kick but Credible moves out of range.

Gomi rushes Credible and presses him up against the cage.
Gomi lands a right hand that snaps the head of Credible backwards.
Credible is trying to maintain a safe position but Gomi gets an underhook and turns Credible into the cage.

Gomi pushes Credible against the cage. Gomi is working some dirty boxing. Gomi pushes off with a quick right hook! Credible goes down! Credible tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Gomi moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

After the fight, Akihiro Gomi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
