Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ned Kelly (ranked 5406 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gee Johnson (ranked 4298 p4p, 174 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gee Johnson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ned Kelly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gee Johnson! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly throws a good cross that connects.
Johnson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kelly manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Johnson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Johnson throwing strikes but missing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson pushes down on Kelly's leg and manages to get into half guard. Johnson content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Johnson works his way into side control. Johnson taking a breather here. Kelly might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Kelly is trying to escape and Johnson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Kelly is forced to tap! Nice work there by Johnson! Very nice indeed!
