The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koneeey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ramirez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ramirez cracks Koneeey with a good jab.
Koneeey lands with a right hand.
It looks like Jorge Ramirez has been cut.
Ramirez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A nice side step and Koneeey releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Koneeey lands a left and a right that send Ramirez crashing to the mat, dazed. Koneeey thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Koneeey cracks a nice hook into Ramirez's ribs.
Ramirez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Koneeey is fending him off so far but Ramirez persists. Nope, Koneeey circles away and we're back to standing.
Some wild striking there from Koneeey.
Ramirez ducks right into an uppercut from Koneeey.
Koneeey steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Ramirez is out on his feet! Koneeey sets himself and nearly takes Ramirez's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
