Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scruffy Bushrod (ranked 5639 p4p, 469 weight class) and Ryland Rasmussen (ranked 7098 p4p, 510 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryland Rasmussen!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasmussen lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Rasmussen on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Rasmussen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Rasmussen content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rasmussen trying to pass the guard but Bushrod defending well.
Rasmussen slows the pace down in half guard.
Rasmussen trying to mount his opponent but Bushrod defends it.
Bushrod on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bushrod tries to get out of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rasmussen is looking to take a break and control but Bushrod is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bushrod is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Forge, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Bushrod is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Rasmussen is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Rasmussen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bushrod wants to improve his position but Rasmussen is controlling well.
Rasmussen content to control rather than advance.
Rasmussen is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rasmussen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Rasmussen swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
