Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lamar Allen (ranked 666 p4p, 76 weight class) and Ebyn Dall (ranked 560 p4p, 60 weight class). Dall has chosen Under the Blood as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lamar Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ebyn Dall! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen walks into a left hand. Allen swings for the body but Dall moves out of range.
Dall scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Allen misses the shot to the body. Dall blocks a jab. Allen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dall is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Dall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dall avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Dall drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Allen defends it well. Dall avoids the body shot from Allen.
Dall will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Allen ducks under a wild hook from Dall. Dall takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dall connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Allen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dall moves away. Allen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dall.
Dall thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Allen if he has to take too many more of those.
Dall scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dall feints and then cracks Allen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Allen down. Allen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Allen looks to throw the jab but Dall is out of range. Dall gets tackled into the cage by Allen. Allen maintains the clinch. Allen slows down the pace here.

Allen has Dall pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Allen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dall tumbling to the mat - Allen dives into Dall's guard. Dall working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Allen. Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Dall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Allen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Allen manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen actively working from the bottom here. Allen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ebyn Dall dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Allen. You can see the frustration on Dall's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Allen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Lamar Allen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dall gets back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dall trying to hold on to Allen's head to control him but Allen postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Allen is nestled in close to Dall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dall tries to get to full guard but Allen has control of the leg. Dall gets back to full guard.
Allen cracks Dall with a solid left hand. Allen being controlled here momentarily. Dall looking for a sweep. Not yet Dall, not yet. Allen stands up over Dall, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Allen throws a big right hand that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Allen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Allen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Allen lands a couple of elbows. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dall wants to sweep here but Allen controlling him for the moment. Dall looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Allen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dall manages to avoid it. That kick from Dall tenderised Allen's leg. Allen is trying to keep his angry face on. Dall misses with a looping left. Allen lands a jab to the head.

Dall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Allen circles away quickly and effectively. Allen thuds a left hand into Dall's body. Dall connects with a right hand. Allen shakes it off. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dall throws a shot from downtown. Allen moves away and avoids it. A jab from Allen misses. It seemed like Dall was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Allen scores with a hook to the body. Dall takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Allen lands with an uppercut that bounces Dall off the cage and back into range. Dall takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen throws a hook to the side of Dall's head but Dall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dall listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Allen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Dall connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Dall throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A big left from Dall misses. Allen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A looping hook to the body misses from Allen. Dall does a little dance to reset his feet. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Allen checks a leg kick. Dall avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Allen misses with a wild body shot. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Allen takes a swing at Dall's ribcage but misses. Dall throws a jab but it's blocked by Allen. Allen jabs Dall to the body, keeping him at a distance. Dall has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Dall takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dall stuffs the takedown attempt from Allen. Allen gets slowly back to his feet. Allen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A looping hook to the body misses from Allen. Dall does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Dall misses its intended target. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dall thows a left - swing and a miss! Dall pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Allen scores with a jab to the body. A jab lands there for Dall. Allen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Allen lands in his opponent's guard. Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Dall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dall is trying to control the position but Allen postures up. Allen wants to control from the top but Dall keeps moving. Allen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Allen landing some decent shots from guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen trying to control but Dall is working from the bottom. Allen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dall is keeping the position for now. Allen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Allen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dall looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dall looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dall! Allen looks to move to half guard but instead Dall has passed into mount! Damn! Allen is squirming around, avoiding Dall's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dall avoids the attempt from Allen to control. Allen throwing hammer fists to the chest of Dall. What's that going to do exactly? Allen is trying to escape the mount.
Allen flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Dall is working for a guillotine from mount but Allen frees his head quite easily.
Dall jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Allen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Allen and Dall has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Allen is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Dall is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ebyn Dall. I think Dall has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Ebyn Dall! Ebyn Dall decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
