Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seol Ki Hyon (ranked 1057 p4p, 144 weight class) and Madik MBaku (ranked 1825 p4p, 222 weight class). The key to victory for Seol Ki Hyon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Madik MBaku! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MBaku misses with a takedown attempt - Ki Hyon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ki Hyon wants to clinch. MBaku misses with a takedown attempt and Ki Hyon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Madik MBaku has been cut. Ki Hyon misses with a body shot.
And MBaku tries to counter it with a takedown but Ki Hyon pushes his down on his head and steps out. Ki Hyon looks to land a combination but MBaku avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ki Hyon cracks a nice hook into MBaku's ribs. Ki Hyon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and MBaku counters with a nice double leg into half guard. MBaku wants to take a breather but Ki Hyon is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. MBaku is looking for a kimura but Ki Hyon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for MBaku to get the leverage. Ki Hyon is trying to maintain the position but MBaku is very close to passing his half guard. Ki Hyon is looking for a sweep. MBaku is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. MBaku seems to be working for a kimura but Ki Hyon defends the submission attempt. MBaku tries to pass to full mount but Ki Hyon defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. MBaku is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ki Hyon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for MBaku on the ground. Ki Hyon is controlling MBaku's trapped leg to prevent MBaku from advancing to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ki Hyon is trying to control but can't.
MBaku seems to be working for a kimura but Ki Hyon defends the submission attempt. MBaku tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ki Hyon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. MBaku is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ki Hyon sees it coming and defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ki Hyon works his way to full guard. Good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MBaku stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ki Hyon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ki Hyon keeping moving, preventing MBaku from controlling successfully. MBaku sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ki Hyon's guard. MBaku works his foot free and advances to mount. MBaku misses with a head shot. MBaku looking to control but Ki Hyon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. MBaku looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MBaku thowing shots but they're missing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. MBaku looking to finish with strikes here!
MBaku throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. MBaku mounts Ki Hyon! Really nice guard pass there! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. MBaku fails to take his opponent's back. MBaku jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ki Hyon is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ki Hyon and MBaku has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Madik MBaku dominated that round. The cut man is working on Madik MBaku's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ki Hyon misses the body punch and Ki Hyon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. MBaku shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ki Hyon pinned against the cage. Ki Hyon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ki Hyon appears to be looking for a big counter. MBaku wants to clinch and Ki Hyon counters with a three punch combo that has MBaku backing up. MBaku nods at Ki Hyon to acknowledge the strikes. Ki Hyon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ki Hyon shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A solid leg kick lands there for Ki Hyon.
MBaku darts in and clinches Ki Hyon up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. MBaku slowing the pace effectively. MBaku is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ki Hyon to keep the fight standing. That's going to take a lot out of Madik MBaku. Ki Hyon blocks a body shot from MBaku. MBaku tries a body shot but Ki Hyon blocks it.
Ki Hyon scores with a shot to the side of MBaku's head. MBaku jumps guard but Ki Hyon stands there with MBaku around his waist. MBaku gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ki Hyon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. MBaku looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Ki Hyon! MBaku is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ki Hyon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. MBaku is looking to take a break and control but Ki Hyon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MBaku tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ki Hyon managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by MBaku.
MBaku wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ki Hyon keeps working. MBaku goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ki Hyon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for MBaku but great work by Ki Hyon.

MBaku is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ki Hyon pulls his head out easily. MBaku is looking to improve his position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Seol Ki Hyon will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Madik MBaku's cut. That's time! Ki Hyon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

This one could be over very soon! Ki Hyon goes limp - he's gone! MBaku jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
