Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Helio Kimura (ranked 11755 p4p, 566 weight class) and Stan Judea (ranked 707 p4p, 103 weight class). And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Stan Judea! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Kimura moves into the clinch. Judea tries for a takedown but Kimura manages to get underhooks.
Kimura is defending well against a takedown attempt. Kimura is fighting off a takedown attempt but Judea is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kimura to the mat. Kimura regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Kimura (0) vs (2) Judea Kimura keeping full guard, as Judea tries to pass. Kimura wants to sweep here but Judea controlling him for the moment. Kimura is trying to keep Judea in close.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Judea advances to half guard. Judea is thwarting Kimura's attempts to control the position. Kimura moves into full guard.
Kimura has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Judea manages to get himself to full guard.

Kimura advances position into side control! Score +3 for passing guard: Kimura (5) vs (2) Judea Kimura trying to control the action but Judea is working from the bottom. Kimura thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Judea tries to buck Kimura off but Kimura is having none of it. Judea seems a little lost for a moment, as Kimura dominates the positioning. Judea is not content to let Kimura control the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura laying and praying for a moment but Judea takes advantage and regains half guard. Kimura prevents Judea from improving his position. Kimura is figuring out what he wants to do next. Judea is looking for a sweep. Kimura is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Judea wants to control but Kimura passes into side.
Score +3 for passing guard: Kimura (8) vs (2) Judea The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Judea is not content to let Kimura control the position. Kimura working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kimura has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Judea is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kimura yanks on the arm and Judea is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kimura.
