Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josip Ruzic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rod Wallis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Who's Got A Match? by Biffy Clyro kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruzic moves out of range as Wallis throws a body kick.
Wallis looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Wallis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Wallis wants to control from the top but Ruzic keeps moving.
Wallis stopping the sweep attempt from Ruzic.
Ruzic has an active guard here but Wallis has managed to pass into half guard.

Wallis gets to his feet - Ruzic follows without any prompting.
Ruzic waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Wallis.

Wallis throws a series of punches but Ruzic moves out of range.
Ruzic scores with a jab. Wallis acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Wallis shoots in for a double leg but Ruzic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wallis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wallis slows the pace down.
Ruzic is looking for a sweep.
Wallis postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ruzic is working hard here to advance position.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Wallis uses his free foot to push down on Ruzic's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ruzic.

Wallis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ruzic takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Wallis tries to control but Ruzic wriggling away.
Ruzic keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Wallis wants to control the pace but Ruzic is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ruzic is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Wallis is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Wallis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ruzic!
Ruzic is trying to escape the mount.
Wallis content just to control the position here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rod Wallis dominated that round.
That's time! Ruzic's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wallis closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Wallis misses with a takedown attempt - Ruzic sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rod Wallis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No luck for Wallis with that takedown attempt.
Ruzic misses with a straight right.
Wallis on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Wallis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ruzic.
Wallis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ruzic lands with a right and another and another! Wallis is in big trouble! Ruzic lands again and this time it's lights out for Wallis! A quality knockout there for Ruzic.
