Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Streicher Voges (ranked 2646 p4p, 314 weight class) and Phan Li (ranked 3510 p4p, 395 weight class). Voges's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Windgat bakkie. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Phan Li enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li tries to sprawl but Voges drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Voges has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Voges wants to take a breather but Li is having none of it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Voges connects with a nice short shot to Li's temple.
Li felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

A relieved looking Streicher Voges thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
