Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davey Jones (ranked 6874 p4p, 620 weight class) and Jake Plunkett (ranked 7649 p4p, 645 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jake Plunkett enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Davey Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Plunkett!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swings for the body but Plunkett moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Plunkett goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones continues to drive forward.
Plunkett shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Jones tries to counter by clinching up but Plunkett breaks away and moves out of range.
Jones definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Plunkett has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Plunkett and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jones checks a leg kick.
An attempted straight right counter from Jones misses the target.
Plunkett misses with a takedown
and Plunkett takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Davey Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Plunkett.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Plunkett steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Jones.
Plunkett shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.

Jones darts in and clinches Plunkett up against the cage.

Plunkett shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A short body shot lands from Jones as the two fighters clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Jones lands an uppercut.

Plunkett is rocked!
Jones lands with a short shot to the head.
Plunkett is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?

Jones creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Plunkett with a big uppercut! Plunkett tries to clinch up but Jones pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Plunkett to the mat! Plunkett covers up and Jones unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
