Purustaja comes to the cage accompanied by Stemm - Face The Pain. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loomis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Purustaja looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Loomis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Purustaja knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Loomis on the ground.
Purustaja wants to get back to full guard.
Loomis is taking a breather. Purustaja says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Loomis is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Loomis working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Purustaja looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Loomis! Submission of the night perhaps?
