Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kory Acevedo (ranked 5352 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Breaker (ranked 5193 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kory Acevedo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Breaker! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Acevedo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Breaker with the counter takedown but Acevedo avoids it easily. Breaker has closed the distance and engaged Acevedo in a clinch.
Breaker is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Acevedo can't fight it off and eventually Breaker manages to take the fight to the floor. Acevedo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Breaker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Breaker wants to control from the top but Acevedo keeps moving. Acevedo is pulling down on Breaker's head to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Acevedo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Breaker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Acevedo's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breaker trying to control but Acevedo is working from the bottom. Breaker wants to pass the guard but Acevedo is keeping the position. Breaker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Breaker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Acevedo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Acevedo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Breaker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Acevedo is keeping the position for now. Breaker trying to control but Acevedo is working from the bottom. Acevedo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Acevedo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Acevedo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Breaker backs up against the cage.
A punch combination from Acevedo misses. Breaker keeps the fight on the outside. Acevedo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Breaker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Breaker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Acevedo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Acevedo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Breaker throws an elbow that misses. Acevedo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Breaker's guard. Nice move by Acevedo! Acevedo preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breaker wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Acevedo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Acevedo with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Breaker is controlling Acevedo's posture. Acevedo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Acevedo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Breaker looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Breaker controls Acevedo momentarily but Acevedo frees himself. Acevedo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Acevedo postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Acevedo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Breaker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Breaker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Acevedo to the ground. Breaker is now in Acevedo's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bob Breaker will probably get the nod. That's time! Acevedo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Breaker trying to control the position from guard on top but Acevedo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Acevedo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Breaker is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Breaker drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Acevedo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Breaker has Acevedo in his guard. Breaker has hold of Acevedo's hands but Acevedo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Acevedo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Breaker wants to get back to full guard but Acevedo has passed into side control. Sloppy strikes there by Acevedo. Breaker is trying to control Acevedo's posture but Acevedo avoids it. Acevedo swings around for an armbar but Breaker sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Acevedo's guard.

Breaker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Breaker is looking to take a break and control but Acevedo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Breaker missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Breaker seems to be looking for submissions.

Breaker is working Acevedo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Breaker throws a big elbow that misses. Breaker is looking to advance position but Acevedo has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breaker tries to hold on but Acevedo pushes him away. Acevedo lands a big elbow. Acevedo working Breaker over with strikes here. Acevedo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Breaker is on top in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Breaker's corner. There ya go! There ya go! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Acevedo holds on and takes a little breather.

Acevedo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Breaker's guard. Nice move by Acevedo! Breaker wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Acevedo manages to pass to side control. Breaker trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Acevedo manages to pass to mount!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Breaker tries to reverse the position but Acevedo maintains control.
And that's the end of the fight! Kory Acevedo showed his dominance in that final round. I think Breaker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
