Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Niudu Kakka (ranked 1079 p4p, 138 weight class) and Shoju Bayushi (ranked 1183 p4p, 150 weight class). Bayushi has chosen Scorpions - Always Somewhere as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Niudu Kakka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shoju Bayushi! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kakka fails with the takedown and Bayushi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kakka dives in and scores a takedown into Bayushi's guard. Bayushi wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kakka manages to pass to side control. Bayushi tries to roll over but Kakka keeps him under control. Kakka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bayushi has hold of Kakka's hands but Kakka slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Bayushi gets full guard. Kakka makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bayushi looking to control.
Bayushi looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bayushi can do anything to dispel that myth. Bayushi wants to get back to his feet but Kakka is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kakka won't allow Bayushi to sweep him here. Bayushi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kakka's guard. Bayushi controls from within his opponent's guard. Bayushi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kakka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. That's two minutes gone in the round. Kakka is in close to Bayushi's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bayushi working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kakka. Kakka landing with the ground and pound. Kakka trying to control but Bayushi is working from the bottom. Bayushi trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Kakka won't allow Bayushi to sweep him here. Kakka loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bayushi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kakka is controlling him. Kakka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kakka controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bayushi working a defensive guard here.
Bayushi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kakka chips away with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kakka throwing strikes but missing. Kakka postures up and lands a big shot to Bayushi's brow. Kakka wants to control from the top but Bayushi keeps moving. Kakka in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bayushi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kakka shoots in but Bayushi avoids the takedown attempt easily. Shoju Bayushi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bayushi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kakka. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Niudu Kakka dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kakka. Bayushi does a little dance to reset his feet. Bayushi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kakka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A little jabbing left from Bayushi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Kakka throws a right hand that Bayushi ducks under and follows up with a left that Bayushi also avoids with ease. Kakka ducks right into an uppercut from Bayushi. Kakka lands with a good body shot. Kakka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bayushi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kakka. Kakka circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Kakka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kakka takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kakka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A punch lands to the side of Kakka 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kakka is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bayushi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kakka sprawling to the canvas! Kakka rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bayushi finish him?!
Oh Kakka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kakka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bayushi is fending him off so far but Kakka persists. Nope, Bayushi circles away and we're back to standing. Bayushi drops Kakka with a big left hand! Kakka is injured, injured bad! Bayushi jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shoju Bayushi! During a confident post fight interview, Shoju Bayushi thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
