The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Newel feints and as Bentley raises his hands in defense, Newel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bentley wants to sweep but no luck.
Bentley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Newel won't allow Bentley to get back to his feet.

Newel turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Newel manages to end up in side control.

Newel has control of Bentley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bentley regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well Newel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
