The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louise fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shepherd avoids it really well and circles away.
Louise shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Louise shoots in for a double leg but Shepherd sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Teddy Shepherd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Louise.
Louise changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shepherd tries to avoid it but Louise manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shepherd to the ground. Shepherd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
