Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duke Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hoptimus Prime! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams works over Prime's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Hoptimus Prime has been cut. Good leg kick by Williams there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Prime looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well. We've been hearing reports that Williams has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Prime avoids the body shot from Williams.
Prime misses with a takedown and Williams counters with a crisp one two that drops Prime! Williams thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Prime to his feet! Prime is in big trouble! Prime is rocked! Duke Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hoptimus Prime. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. No luck with that takedown attempt from Prime. Prime shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Prime is looking to advance position but Williams won't allow it. Williams pushes Prime off looking to stand but Prime dives back in and keeps control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Prime advances position into side control! Williams is looking to regain half guard here but Prime keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Williams can't do much from the bottom here. Williams tries to bench press Prime off him but Prime keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams tries to escape but Prime is in control. Prime has hold of Williams's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Williams seems comfortable defending it but Prime has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Williams is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Williams is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Prime couldn't care less - he's delighted!
