Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dat Sik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veli Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dat Sik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Veli Schwarzeneg! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sik tries to bum rush Schwarzeneg with a series of wild strikes but Schwarzeneg uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Schwarzeneg looks to score with a jab to the body but Sik is just out of range. Sik fails in his attempt to clinch. Sik misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Schwarzeneg looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Schwarzeneg works his foot free and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schwarzeneg tries to control but Sik wriggling away. Schwarzeneg is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sik can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Schwarzeneg landing strikes from the mount and Sik is in trouble! Sik is working to get back to half guard.
Schwarzeneg throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sik is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Schwarzeneg wants to control the pace but Sik is squirming around nicely. Schwarzeneg fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Schwarzeneg wants to finish this one by submission but Sik is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Schwarzeneg. Sik blocking the ground and pound. Sik is desperately trying to improve his position but Schwarzeneg has a good base and remains in mount. Sik regains half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sik is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg decides to stand and escape the position. Schwarzeneg changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Schwarzeneg decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sik to his feet. Dat Sik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schwarzeneg looks gassed! Sik shoots and misses and Schwarzeneg counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sik! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Schwarzeneg thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Schwarzeneg wants to control the pace but Sik is squirming around nicely. Sik tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sik throwing hammer fists to the chest of Schwarzeneg. What's that going to do exactly?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sik wants to hold on but Schwarzeneg pushes him away. Sik punching to the body and holding on for dear life. Schwarzeneg tries to control but Sik wriggling away. Schwarzeneg looking to finish Sik with some ground and pound. This is bad for Sik! Schwarzeneg working Sik over with strikes here. A nice elbow there by Schwarzeneg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A nice elbow there by Schwarzeneg. Schwarzeneg with shots to the head and body - Sik looks very uncomfortable down there. Sik tries to lock up and control but Schwarzeneg gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Schwarzeneg goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sik is on top in guard.
Schwarzeneg is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sik slips nicely into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sik passes to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Veli Schwarzeneg dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice takedown defense from Sik. No joy for Schwarzeneg on that attempt. Sik throws a sloppy head kick and Schwarzeneg counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sik is trying to control but can't.
Schwarzeneg works his foot free and advances to mount. Sik tries to reverse the position but Schwarzeneg maintains control. Schwarzeneg looking to finish with strikes here!
Schwarzeneg swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sik is now in Schwarzeneg's guard. A big mistake from Schwarzeneg there, giving up the dominant position! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sik is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sik won't allow Schwarzeneg to get back to his feet. Sik wants to control from the top but Schwarzeneg keeps moving. Schwarzeneg wants to get back to his feet but Sik is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Sik connects with a couple of short punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Schwarzeneg wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Sik's hips, looking to push off. But Sik grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Schwarzeneg screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Dat Sik!
