Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Lock (ranked 21302 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Lester (ranked 5638 p4p, 514 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Lock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devon Lester! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lock lands a jab to Lester's midsection. Lester fails with the takedown. Lester dives in for a single leg takedown but Lock sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Lester thows a left - swing and a miss! Lester avoids the head kick by Lock.
Lester has his takedown stuffed and Lock counters with a stiff right hand. Ryan Lock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devon Lester. Lock moves out of range of the strikes. Lock slips a straight right by Lester. Lester circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lester with the counter takedown but Lock avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lock gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lester can't find room to land a body shot as Lock controls the action.
Lock blocking some punches.
Lock content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Lock is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lester tries a body shot but Lock blocks it.
Lock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lock fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lock slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A jab from Lester misses. Lock is looking to clinch but Lester is avoiding it.
Lester loads up on a big right hand but Lock slips the punch. Lester thows a left - swing and a miss! Lock fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lock. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lock is defended easily by Lester.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lock clinches. Lester breaks from the clinch.
Lock defending well as Lester loads up on a big left hand. Lock tries to counter with a takedown but Lester is quick to defend against it. Lester misses the jab. Lester avoids the head kick by Lock.
Lester tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lock defends well and Lester ends up having to push Lock into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Lester throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lester misses with a left hand enabling Lock to counter with a crisp jab. Lock is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lock goes for a double leg but Lester avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lester continues to drive forward.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lester misses with a lunging right hand
and Lock counters with a shoot takedown. Lester fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lock missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lester has his foot on Lock's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lock works his way back into a safe position though. Lester is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Lock rolls with it to try and escape but Lester cranks on the arm and Lock is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Devon Lester! An out of breath Devon Lester thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
