Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miro Bang (ranked 1434 p4p, 184 weight class) and Lennart Lennartsson (ranked 1734 p4p, 214 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lennartsson's choice of entrance music: Runaway Baby - Bruno Mars. Miro Bang is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang moves into range and clinches up with Lennartsson.
Bang is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lennartsson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Lennartsson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lennartsson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bang can pounce on him.
Bang darts in looking for a takedown but Lennartsson gets double underhooks and turns Bang into the cage.

Lennartsson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miro Bang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lennartsson is fending him off so far but Bang persists. Nope, Lennartsson circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Lennartsson counters with a nice right hand that sends Bang toppling to the canvas! Bang scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lennartsson finish him?!

and Lennartsson counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Bang off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Lennartsson follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Bang was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Lennart Lennartsson!
During a confident post fight interview, Lennart Lennartsson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
