Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sesto D Ippolito (ranked 2632 p4p, 330 weight class) and Anderson Scorpion (ranked 1628 p4p, 222 weight class). D Ippolito comes to the cage accompanied by Squeeze- Cool for Cats. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sesto D Ippolito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Scorpion!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D Ippolito avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

D Ippolito changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Scorpion looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Scorpion throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

D Ippolito has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Let's hope that Scorpion has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Scorpion really doesn't want to stay on the ground with D Ippolito. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

D Ippolito isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Scorpion stacks D Ippolito on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Scorpion!
