Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Sanderlei Bitetti (ranked 3874 p4p, 82 weight class) and Duke Nukem (ranked 1585 p4p, 61 weight class). Nukem is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Here comes the boom. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bitetti tries to move into range but Nukem moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bitetti has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bitetti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

It looked like Bitetti was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Nukem.
Nukem has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bitetti is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Bitetti misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nukem.
A nice side step and Nukem releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Nukem throws a hook to the side of Bitetti's head but Bitetti sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bitetti tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bitetti's corner calls for a 1-2. Bitetti obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Nukem looks to land a right hand but Bitetti moved out of range.
Bitetti takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nukem connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Bitetti's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Bitetti - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
