Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Ramirez (ranked 6355 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesare Tiramanti (ranked 5271 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jorge Ramirez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cesare Tiramanti! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramirez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tiramanti lands a jab to Ramirez's midsection. Ramirez shoots in but no luck this time. Tiramanti wants to counter with a clinch but Ramirez pushes him away. Tiramanti stalks Ramirez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ramirez's face. Ramirez staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Jorge Ramirez has been cut. Ramirez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tiramanti defends well and Ramirez ends up having to push Tiramanti into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jorge Ramirez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tiramanti throws a nice looking combination but Ramirez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ramirez shoots for a double leg takedown but Tiramanti sprawls well. He's pushed Ramirez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ramirez is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramirez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tiramanti was covering up waiting for the punch and Ramirez finishes the takedown easily into guard. Ramirez drops back looking for a leg! Tiramanti is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tiramanti manages to kick Ramirez off! Ramirez jumps back into Tiramanti's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tiramanti is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ramirez is controlling him. Tiramanti is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Ramirez sitting in guard here, content to control. Tiramanti is trying to keep Ramirez in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ramirez controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Tiramanti works over Ramirez's head and body with a nice combination. Tiramanti keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ramirez takes one to the chin there. Tiramanti darts in and clinches Ramirez up against the cage. Tiramanti lands a body shot. Ramirez looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Tiramanti lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Jorge Ramirez's cut is getting worse. Tiramanti displaying some good clinch control by pressing Ramirez up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tiramanti. Tiramanti is working Ramirez over against the cage. Tiramanti lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ramirez or not. Tiramanti effectively controlling the action here. Tiramanti lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Tiramanti has Ramirez pressed against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Tiramanti scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramirez working aggressively here.
Tiramanti scores with a shot to the side of Ramirez's head. Tiramanti lands a body shot in the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tiramanti. The referee calls for Tiramanti to work.
Still in the clinch, Tiramanti scores with a nice short uppercut. Tiramanti presses Ramirez against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Tiramanti scores with a shoulder strike. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tiramanti. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cesare Tiramanti dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jorge Ramirez's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Oooooh!!! Tiramanti has knocked Ramirez down with a huge combo! Tiramanti steps away and waves a wobbly Ramirez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Ramirez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tiramanti throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Ramirez's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Tiramanti dives in looking to finish as Ramirez flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Tiramanti's strikes! Tiramanti is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Ramirez's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Ramirez was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cesare Tiramanti!
