Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexmuria Bagueraiu (ranked 7310 p4p, 260 weight class) and Tronn Niewschki (ranked 4773 p4p, 215 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tronn Niewschki! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bagueraiu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bagueraiu feints and as Niewschki raises his hands in defense, Bagueraiu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Niewschki is wriggling around but Bagueraiu manages to pass to half guard.
Bagueraiu content to control rather than advance. Niewschki is trying to stand up here but Bagueraiu is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bagueraiu is looking to take a break and control but Niewschki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Niewschki wants to get back to his feet. Bagueraiu is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Niewschki has managed to free his arm - good work. Niewschki is trying to stand up here but Bagueraiu is controlling him well.

Niewschki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bagueraiu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Niewschki defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bagueraiu. Niewschki tries to buck Bagueraiu off but he can't manage it. Bagueraiu controlling from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bagueraiu has hold of Niewschki's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Niewschki manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bagueraiu is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Niewschki can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Bagueraiu is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Niewschki to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Niewschki shrugs it off. Niewschki's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Bagueraiu wants to control the pace but Niewschki is squirming around nicely. You get the feeling that Niewschki really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Niewschki wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Bagueraiu has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Niewschki taps furiously! This one is all over!

After the fight, Alexmuria Bagueraiu was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
