Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kasey Haynes (ranked 5276 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 25051 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kasey Haynes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ivan Drago!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haynes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Drago slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Drago is on top in guard.

Haynes has control of Drago's left arm, preventing Drago from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drago trying to control but Haynes is working from the bottom.

Haynes pulls Drago in to control the position.
Haynes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Haynes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Drago wants to pass the guard but Haynes is keeping the position.

Haynes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Drago controls the pace.
Drago throws a strike but Haynes rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Drago looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Drago wants to get back to his feet but Haynes passes into half guard.

Haynes seems to be working for a kimura but Drago defends the submission attempt.

Ivan Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Haynes looks for a takedown but Drago sprawls well.

and Haynes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Haynes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Drago takes a kick to the side of the head.

Drago closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Haynes works his way to full guard. Good work.
Haynes wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Kasey Haynes dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Haynes drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Haynes as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Drago screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Haynes! Nice submission victory there!
