Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between David Morrison Jr. (ranked 1957 p4p, 194 weight class) and Rodney Holzken (ranked 16147 p4p, 476 weight class). Morrison Jr. comes into the arena with Face The Pain blaring out of the sound system. Holzken has chosen Justin Bieber ft. Ariana Grande - Let Me Think Bout You as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 5 losses; David Morrison Jr.! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 7 losses; Rodney Holzken!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Holzken is looking to regain half guard here but Morrison Jr. keeps moving and retains side control.

Morrison Jr. is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Holzken is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morrison Jr. is just riding it out for now. Holzken eventually gives up the hold.
Holzken is trying to control. Morrison Jr. wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morrison Jr. is looking to control Holzken's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morrison Jr. avoid being mounted?
Holzken stalling.
Morrison Jr. is refusing to be controlled, as Holzken sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holzken is trying to work for a kimura but Morrison Jr. is defending well.
Morrison Jr. wants to get back to full guard.
Holzken is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morrison Jr. defends it well.
Morrison Jr.'s coaches at Mello MMA have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Holzken wants to control from the top but Morrison Jr. keeps moving.
Morrison Jr. has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Holzken should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Morrison Jr. has tightened it up now! Holzken should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
