Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Hero Galanos (ranked 672 p4p, 107 weight class) and Carlos Silverio (ranked 2482 p4p, 332 weight class). Galanos comes into the arena with oh boy, he's walking out in gladiator trunks blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Silverio's choice of entrance music: Shiro Sagisu - Angel of Doom. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 6 losses; Hero Galanos! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 4 losses; Carlos Silverio! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Silverio tries to clinch but Galanos is having none of it. Galanos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Galanos bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Galanos (4) vs (0) Silverio
Galanos has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Silverio is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Galanos yanks on the arm and Silverio is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Galanos.
