Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Freddy Lee (ranked 12593 p4p, 671 weight class) and Spank Crank (ranked 3070 p4p, 397 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Crank instigates a clinch. Crank is trying to trip Lee. He has hold of a leg but Lee is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Crank persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Crank trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Crank wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lee holds on and takes a little breather. We've been hearing good reports from Lee's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. That's five minutes gone in the round. Crank tries to escape but Lee has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Lee biding his time, controlling Crank. Crank rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Lee is just content to waste time from the top position. Crank takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Crank working a defensive guard here.

Lee swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Crank is now in Lee's guard. A big mistake from Lee there, giving up the dominant position! That's eight minutes gone in the round. Crank is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lee wants to pass to mount but Crank is defending the position. Lee is looking for a kimura but Crank is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lee to get the leverage.

Score +3 for passing guard: Lee (15) vs (4) Crank Lee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Crank is looking to escape. Lee controlling the position easily from mount. Lee wants to control the pace but Crank is squirming around nicely.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Lee is really struggling to control Crank but he's trying to hold on to the position. Lee is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Crank to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Crank shrugs it off. Lee sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
