Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Scott (ranked 7302 p4p, 509 weight class) and Trenton Leon (ranked 7204 p4p, 503 weight class). Tyler Scott could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Trenton Leon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trenton Leon! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott moves out of range as Leon throws a body kick.
Leon misses with a jab to the body
and Scott counters with a shoot takedown. Leon fights it but they end up in guard. Scott is stalling in the full guard. Scott looking to pass the guard. Scott slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've been hearing good reports from Scott's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leon is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Scott is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott controls from within his opponent's guard. Scott would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Leon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Scott throws a big counter combination but Leon scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Scott scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Still in half guard, Scott seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leon is trying to stand back up but Scott is controlling him
Scott missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Leon won't allow Scott to pass to mount. Leon tries to kick Scott off but Scott keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Scott content to control rather than advance. Scott is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Scott lands strikes from half guard. Leon felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Scott is looking for a kimura here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Leon defend it? Scott steps over the head and cranks it - Leon is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Scott!
