Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Regis Petrozuli (ranked 3062 p4p, 123 weight class) and Amanda Nunes (ranked 1658 p4p, 66 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Amanda Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrozuli shoots in for a takedown but Nunes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Petrozuli misses with a left hand
and Petrozuli takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Petrozuli throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nunes dips to his left and cracks Petrozuli with an uppercut!
It looks like Regis Petrozuli has been cut.
Nunes slips under a jab from Petrozuli.
Petrozuli goes for a double leg but Nunes avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nunes continues to drive forward.
Nunes swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Nunes leaves Petrozuli with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Regis Petrozuli. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Petrozuli ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nunes moves away.
Nunes looks to score with a jab to the body but Petrozuli is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nunes throws a shot from downtown. Petrozuli moves away and avoids it.
Petrozuli drives through with a takedown into Nunes's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Petrozuli drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Petrozuli jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Petrozuli drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nunes dives on top into guard.

Nunes seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Nunes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Petrozuli has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nunes has managed to get both his arms back between Petrozuli's legs - danger averted.
Petrozuli is looking for a triangle here but Nunes uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Nunes slows the pace down.

Petrozuli tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nunes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Petrozuli is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Petrozuli wants to improve his position but Nunes is controlling well.
Nunes trying to mount his opponent but Petrozuli defends it.
Nunes is taking a breather. Petrozuli says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Petrozuli tries to get to full guard but Nunes has control of the leg.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nunes looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Nunes prevents Petrozuli from improving his position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Nunes leaves Petrozuli with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nunes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Nunes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nunes throws a shot from downtown. Petrozuli moves away and avoids it.

Petrozuli seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Nunes has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Petrozuli is holding his hands too far apart here. Nunes throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Petrozuli is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
