Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marky Mark (ranked 52 p4p, 7 weight class) and Tank Ispa (ranked 174 p4p, 21 weight class). Tank Ispa acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marky Mark! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Tank Ispa! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Francis DeMontford and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mark uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ispa.
Mark bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ispa's head. Mark throws a leg kick but Ispa moved away. Mark misses with an uppercut. Ispa saw that one coming. Mark throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mark throws a quick inside leg kick. Ispa blocks a head kick by Mark.
Ispa appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Mark throws a front kick aimed at Ispa's knee but Ispa avoids it well. Ispa drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mark defends it well. Ispa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Ispa misses with a lunging right hand
and Mark counters with a stiff right hand. A solid body kick from Mark. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ispa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Mark lands a jab to the head.

A cross from Ispa lands. We've been told by Mark's head coaches at Gangsterdamage that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Mark changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Ispa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mark to score with a decent uppercut. Marky Mark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A combination from Ispa does no damage. Mark is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Ispa misses with a head kick.
Mark goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Ispa takes a body punch but keeps moving. Mark really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mark misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ispa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mark. Jab, jab by Mark - just one landing. Mark throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ispa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Ispa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Ispa looks to throw the jab but Mark is out of range. Mark ducks under a wild hook from Ispa. Mark is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Ispa thows a leg kick but Mark checks it and Mark counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Mark counters with a lovely shot to the body. A good leg kick by Mark. Mark takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

It looks like Marky Mark has been cut. Ispa connects with a body shot that sends Mark's belly button to the back. Ispa ducks right into an uppercut from Mark. Ispa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ispa trying to control but Mark is working from the bottom. Ispa drops back looking for a leg! Mark is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mark manages to kick Ispa off! Ispa jumps back into Mark's guard. Mark is trying to control the position but Ispa postures up. Ispa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mark is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ispa is still trying to improve position. Ispa controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ispa trying to control the position from guard on top but Mark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ispa is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ispa drops back looking for a leg! Mark is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mark manages to kick Ispa off! Ispa jumps back into Mark's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ispa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mark swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marky Mark dominated that round. The cut man is working on Marky Mark's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mark throws a body punch but Ispa moves out of range. Marky Mark is winning the standup battle so far. Ispa moves out of range of the leg kick from Mark. Ispa on the wrong end of a nice hook. Mark misses with a leg kick and Ispa counters with a nice uppercut. Ispa shoots for a double leg takedown but Mark sprawls well. He's pushed Ispa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A big right from Ispa misses. Mark moves into range and connects with a jab. Ispa tries to clinch but fails miserably and Mark connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ispa misses the shot to the body. It looked like Mark wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Mark misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

enabling Mark to counter with a crisp jab. A nice leg kick lands there from Ispa. Ispa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mark but Mark pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ispa throws a leg kick which misses Mark's front leg but catches the back leg as Mark tries to avoid it. This has been an exciting period of action! Mark uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ispa has time to react.

Ispa throws a hook to the side of Mark's head but Mark sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A punch lands to the side of Ispa 's head but he takes it in his stride. Ispa ducks right into an uppercut from Mark. Mark throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ispa. Mark lands with an uppercut that bounces Ispa off the cage and back into range. Ispa throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Mark scores with a jab to the head.
Mark shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Ispa takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Ispa throws a body shot but no joy. Mark feints and then cracks Ispa's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ispa down. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mark cracks Ispa with a good jab. Ispa throws an overhand right that lands on Mark's shoulder, as Mark tries to avoid the shot. Mark throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Ispa tries to bum rush Mark with a series of wild strikes but Mark uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mark thows a left - swing and a miss! Ispa with the counter takedown but Mark avoids it easily. Mark smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Mark lands a nice shot to the body.

A nice side step and Ispa releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Mark swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ispa goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mark rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ispa's guard! Nice work there by Mark! Ispa has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mark is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ispa.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Mark politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mark prefers to stall for the moment though. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mark working away. Mark looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ispa looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Tank Ispa. I think Mark has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fight is ruled a draw! Marky Mark retains his title. It's always disappointing when a championship fight ends as a draw but that's what happens when you leave the fight in the judges hands!
