Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tanishk Soni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Tanishk Soni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Bob!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob shoots in but no luck this time.
Horrible takedown by Bob or perhaps it was just good defense by Soni which made him look bad.
Bob drops Soni with a left and a right! Oh, Soni is hurt - Bob dives into side control looking to finish!


It looks like Tanishk Soni has been cut.
Bob tries to get to his feet but Soni is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Bob in his guard.
Bob with a flurry of punches that miss.

Soni looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bob trying to control the position from guard on top but Soni is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bob is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Bob wants to pass the guard but Soni is keeping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Soni fails with the takedown.
Bob fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tanishk Soni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Bob.

Soni bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bob is trying to work for a sweep but Soni has mounted him!
Soni is breathing heavily.
Bob tries to improve his position but instead Soni has taken his back!

Soni not allowing Bob to control his hands.

Soni looking for the RNC.
Bob looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Soni will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
I really don't envy Bob right now.
Soni not allowing Bob to control his hands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Bob dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tanishk Soni's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bob with a poor takedown

and Soni counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Soni.

Soni breaks from the clinch.
Bob tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Soni is able to avoid easily.
Bob keeps the fight on the outside.

Bob scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Bob wants to control for a moment but Soni uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Bob is trying to get back to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bob is looking to control Soni's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bob avoid being mounted?
Bob is looking to improve his position.
Bob trying to control but Soni postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bob wants to get back to full guard but Soni has passed into side control.
Bob tries to hold on but Soni postures up.
Bob can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Soni looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Soni controlling the position easily from mount.
Bob has given up his back here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Soni controlling the position well here. Bob rolled but Soni kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Bob tries to roll but Soni sticks to his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tanishk Soni will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


No luck for Bob with that takedown attempt.

Soni clinches up with Bob and pushes him back against the cage.
Bob wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Soni lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bob tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Soni manages to move to mount!
Bob tries to lock up and control but Soni gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Soni looking to control and managing it successfully.

Bob tries to hold on but Soni postures up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bob can't escape the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Soni sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Soni has hold of Bob's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bob manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bob wants to control but Soni is having none of it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tanishk Soni showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Soni has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
