Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Errol Trevino (ranked 5639 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jay (ranked 5263 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Jay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Errol Trevino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Jay! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jay closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Trevino did well to prevent Jay getting side control. Trevino tries to roll over but Jay keeps him under control. Trevino could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Well, if Jay is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Trevino keeps control of the position for the meantime. Trevino gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jay gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jay closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jay lands in his opponent's guard. Trevino trying to keep a closed guard but Jay is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trevino wants to sweep but no luck. Trevino trying to strike off his back.
Trevino bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jay's guard. Jay has a closed guard, preventing Trevino from standing up. Trevino is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jay looking to control.
Trevino trying to control but Jay is working from the bottom. Trevino sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jay is looking to stand up but Trevino isn't so interested in that idea. Trevino controls from within his opponent's guard. Jay pulls Trevino in to control the position. Trevino content to stall in guard here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jay gets a takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trevino is looking for a sweep. Jay is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jay is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Trevino defends it well. Trevino trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Jay manages to pass to mount!
Jay avoids the attempt from Trevino to control. Jay throws some wild stikes that Trevino manages to avoid easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trevino tries to lock up and control but Jay gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jay trying to control but he's not successful this time. Trevino is trying to escape the mount.
Trevino sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Jay sitting and controlling from the half guard. Trevino wants to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jay is keen to just control but Trevino is a slippery customer. Trevino is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jay's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jay's back! A bit of a pause in the action here. Trevino controlling the positon. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jay Jay will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Trevino counters by clinching up. Trevino wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jay has him pressed against the cage. Jay gets a trip takedown into half guard. Trevino is looking to get back to is feet but Jay passes into side control.
You can see the frustration on Trevino's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jay wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trevino keeps working. Trevino is trying to control Jay's posture but Jay avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jay is looking to take a break and control but Trevino is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Trevino manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jay's best efforts. Trevino might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trevino is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jay's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jay's back! Jay just trying to survive but Trevino is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Jay wants to escape the position.
Jay is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Jay Jay has got the better of the ground game so far. Trevino is persistently looking for the submission but Jay is defending it well.
Trevino keeps control of the position as Jay tries to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trevino has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Jay's body.
Jay trying to control the position but Trevino manages to sink in the hooks. Trevino is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Jay looking very determined here, making life difficult for Trevino.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jay just trying to survive but Trevino is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Trevino controlling from the back. Jay trying to control but not successfully. Good control from Trevino. Trevino's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Jay is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A bit of a pause in the action here. Trevino controlling the positon. Jay is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Trevino gets his way!
Trevino wants to control but Jay is keeping busy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jay is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Trevino off. It looks like it's working - Trevino slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Jay displaying calm under pressure there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Errol Trevino dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Jay is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Trevino stays in close to Jay's body and controls the position. Trevino stops Jay from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Trevino tries to sprawl but Jay drives through with a takedown into half guard. Trevino is holding on to half guard well. Trevino works his way to full guard. Good work. Trevino will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Trevino throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Trevino trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Trevino trying to control the position here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Trevino moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trevino wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Trevino breaks from the clinch.
Trevino shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jay but Jay pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jay moves into the clinch successfully.
Jay manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Trevino stands and steps away. Jay gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trevino looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Trevino checks a leg kick. Trevino thinks about countering with a head kick. Jay displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Errol Trevino has been cut. A head kick misses from Trevino. Jay stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jay wants it to stay on the feet. Trevino shoots for a double leg takedown but Jay sprawls well. He's pushed Trevino's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Errol Trevino. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jay throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Trevino tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jay is in Trevino's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Trevino is looking to sweep but instead, Jay has passed into half guard.
Jay escapes and gets back to his feet. Trevino checks a leg kick nicely. It looked like Trevino was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
And that's the end of the fight! Jay Jay comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jay has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
