Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Martin Eugen (ranked 273 p4p, 34 weight class) and Sisu Sisu (ranked 1734 p4p, 179 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sisu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eugen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sisu working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The referee asks Sisu politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sisu prefers to stall for the moment though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eugen parries the strikes from Sisu easily there. Sisu is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Eugen to escape.
