Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Davison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn comes to the cage accompanied by Break Stuff. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Quinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David Davison! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davison closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Quinn tries to pull guard but Davison won't allow it.

A short right from Davison. Quinn gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Quinn passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Davison! Quinn sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Davison is trying desperately to improve position. Quinn looking to control and managing it successfully. Quinn prevents Davison from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn controlling his opponent. Davison is in all sorts of trouble here.

Quinn putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quinn prevents Davison from getting the reversal. Quinn sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Quinn lands a nice shot to the head. Quinn content just to control the position here. Davison tries to hold on but Quinn pushes him away.

Davison shoots in but Quinn avoids the takedown attempt easily. Quinn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Davison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. A lull in the action here. Quinn is working Davison over with some ground and pound from side control. You can see the frustration on Davison's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Davison taking a bit of punishment here - Quinn scoring with strikes.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Peter Quinn just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Quinn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davison's waist but Davison gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quinn off to one side. Quinn clinches up against the cage. Quinn is working for takedown but Davison is calmly controlling the position for now. Davison is trying to stall.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. A shot in the inside from Davison. Quinn tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Davison smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Quinn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Davison with a lazy takedown attempt and Quinn counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davison tries to get to full guard but Quinn has control of the leg. Quinn is looking to take a break and control but Davison is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Davison trying to hold on to Quinn's head to control him but Quinn postures up.
Davison is looking for a sweep. Quinn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Davison desperately trying to maintain half guard. Quinn is controlling the pace.
Quinn seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Davison for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davison is staying active underneath Quinn, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Davison works his way to full guard. Good work. Davison tries to land a sweep but no joy. Quinn lands a couple of elbows. Quinn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Davison works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Quinn looking to sit in guard and control but Davison gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quinn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Davison gets to his feet. Quinn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Quinn misses with a head kick.
Davison slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Davison looks for the body kick but Quinn saw that one coming. Davison shoots in but no luck this time. Davison has a takedown stuffed. Quinn shoots in for a double leg but Davison sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Davison scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Quinn throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Quinn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Quinn dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Quinn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Davison counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Quinn is looking to control Davison's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Quinn avoid being mounted? Quinn blocking the ground and pound attempt from Davison. Quinn is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Davison is tapping! Great win for Quinn!
