Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ned Bright (ranked 24740 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tar San (ranked 6783 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ned Bright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tar San! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! San throws a leg kick but Bright checks it. Bright moves into range and clinches up with San. Bright manages to break the clinch.
Bright shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. San misses with a head kick.
Bright tries to counter by clinching up but San breaks away and moves out of range. A head kick misses from San. San throws a head kick but Bright moves out of range.
Bright rushes San and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bright tries a knee to the head but San blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bright's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. San throws a head kick that misses and Bright counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bright showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from San.
A counter left hand to the body from Bright misses its target. Bright avoids the head kick by San.

Bright moves into the clinch successfully.
San is trying to break free. Bright pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. San throws a leg kick but Bright moved away. Bright is looking for a counter combo. A head kick by San misses and Bright counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. San throws a lazy head kick and Bright counters by moving into the clinch. A low kick from San misses so Bright counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bright seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. San is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bright seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. San throws a sloppy head kick and Bright moves out of range easily. San wants to slow Bright down by chopping away at his legs. Bright moves into range and clinches up with San. San is trying to force a seperation but Bright has the dominant position. Bright escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looked like Bright was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. A head kick by San misses enabling Bright to counter with a crisp jab. Bright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. San throws a series of punches but Bright moves out of range. Bright tries to counter with a takedown but San is quick to defend against it. Bright closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. San quickly recovers to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bright looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bright will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bright's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ned Bright dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bright rushes San and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bright keeps control of San as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bright breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tar San seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bright darts in and clinches San up against the cage. Bright is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that San can do to turn this around? San wants to break free but Bright has control.
Bright breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. San slaps away a takedown attempt from Bright, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bright decides to stand back up. Bright steps back and let's San get back to his feet. Bright avoids the head kick by San.

Bright tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. San just stands there and leans against the cage. Bright has a couple of punches blocked by San.
A short right from Bright on the inside. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bright creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Bright breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
San displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bright. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ned Bright. That's going to take a lot out of him. San misses with a head kick.

San is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bright is controlling him. Bright showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bright seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down San for as long as he can get away with.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ground and pound from Bright. Bright takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bright gets in close and instigates a clinch. Tar San has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ned Bright is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. San looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ned Bright. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bright, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
