Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bob Bobbie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Riggybongo Di Castillo! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bobbie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Di Castillo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bobbie somewhat. Bobbie fails with a takedown attempt. Bobbie slaps away a takedown attempt from Di Castillo, before circling back to the center of the mat. Di Castillo lands an overhand right. Bobbie looking to score a takedown here. Di Castillo is defending well but Bobbie drives through and ends up in Di Castillo's guard. Bobbie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Di Castillo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Di Castillo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bobbie postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bobbie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Di Castillo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Di Castillo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bobbie is breathing heavily. Di Castillo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Di Castillo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bobbie trying to control but Di Castillo is working from the bottom. Di Castillo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Di Castillo lands a couple of elbows. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bobbie wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Di Castillo is now in half guard. Bobbie is looking to control Di Castillo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bobbie avoid being mounted? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Riggybongo Di Castillo dominated that round. That's time! Bobbie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bobbie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Di Castillo but Di Castillo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! I think Bobbie should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Di Castillo has tightened it up now! Bobbie should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out!
