Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cengiz Toprak (ranked 3490 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magomedrasul Hasbullaev (ranked 5779 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cengiz Toprak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magomedrasul Hasbullaev!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasbullaev misses with a takedown attempt - Toprak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Toprak throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hasbullaev walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hasbullaev shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Toprak as he avoids it easily.
Toprak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hasbullaev is fending him off so far but Toprak persists. Nope, Hasbullaev circles away and we're back to standing.
Hasbullaev throws out a counter right but Toprak avoids it with no problem.
Toprak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hasbullaev tries to avoid it but Toprak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hasbullaev to the ground. Hasbullaev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As Toprak backs off Hasbullaev throws a huge counter combo but Toprak manages to avoid it all.
Toprak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hasbullaev shoots in but Toprak avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cengiz Toprak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Magomedrasul Hasbullaev.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Toprak drives through and clinches with Hasbullaev against the cage.

Hasbullaev jumps into guard, dragging Toprak to the mat.

Toprak drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hasbullaev manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Toprak has Hasbullaev in his guard.

Toprak wants to stand but Hasbullaev is controlling the position.

Toprak has an active guard here but Hasbullaev has managed to pass into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Toprak is looking for a sweep. Hasbullaev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Toprak is working hard here to advance position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hasbullaev lands a nice short elbow.
Toprak on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Toprak wants to improve his position but Hasbullaev is controlling well.
Toprak is refusing to be controlled, as Hasbullaev sits in half guard.

Hasbullaev content to control rather than advance.
Toprak tries to roll over but Hasbullaev keeps him under control.
Toprak is not content to let Hasbullaev control the position.

Toprak looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Toprak throws a sloppy head kick and Hasbullaev moves out of range easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Toprak tries to close the distance and clinch but Hasbullaev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Toprak fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Some wild striking there from Hasbullaev.

Toprak takes the fight into the clinch.

Toprak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Toprak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Toprak.
Toprak leaves Hasbullaev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Magomedrasul Hasbullaev will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Toprak shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Toprak was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hasbullaev tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Hasbullaev sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Toprak wants to pass the guard but Hasbullaev is defending well.
Magomedrasul Hasbullaev has got the better of the ground game so far.

Toprak sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Toprak decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Toprak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hasbullaev's waist but Hasbullaev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Toprak off to one side.

Hasbullaev gets caught flat footed, as Toprak shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Hasbullaev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Toprak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hasbullaev is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hasbullaev wants to sweep but no luck.
Hasbullaev is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Hasbullaev looking to hit a scissor sweep but Toprak is one step ahead there.

Hasbullaev preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Toprak trying to control but Hasbullaev is working from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Toprak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hasbullaev has a takedown stuffed.
Hasbullaev shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Toprak sprawls well. Toprak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hasbullaev gets slowly back to his feet.

Hasbullaev wants to control but Toprak is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Toprak working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Toprak content to control rather than advance.
Toprak tries to pass to full mount but Hasbullaev defends it.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Toprak instigates a clinch.
Toprak fails to pull guard.
Toprak has Hasbullaev pushed against the cage.
Hasbullaev tries to pull guard but Toprak won't allow it.
Toprak has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hasbullaev is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Toprak tries to pull guard but Hasbullaev forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cengiz Toprak. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Toprak wants to hit a switch here but Hasbullaev passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Toprak there!

Toprak tries to lock up and control but Hasbullaev gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Toprak is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Toprak is squirming around, avoiding Hasbullaev's attempts to control the action.

Hasbullaev moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Toprak has worked his arm free - good work by Toprak!
Hasbullaev remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Hasbullaev wants to control but Toprak is keeping him busy.
Toprak manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hasbullaev's best efforts.
Hasbullaev wants to take a breather but Toprak is having none of it.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Toprak wants to get back to his feet.
Toprak is trying to control Hasbullaev's posture but Hasbullaev avoids it.
Hasbullaev gets to mount! Toprak was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Magomedrasul Hasbullaev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hasbullaev has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
