Sancho comes to the cage accompanied by I Don't Give A About You. The key to victory for Freddy Sancho has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Freddy Sancho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Samuel Song! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Song tries to clinch there but Sancho circles away.
Sancho misses with a double jab.
Sancho throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Song. Song tries to counter with a clinch but Sancho shakes him off and moves away. Song tries to close the distance and clinch but Sancho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sancho misses with a double jab.
Song throws a right hand that Sancho ducks under and follows up with a left that Sancho also avoids with ease. Sancho fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Song misses with a head kick.
Sancho is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Sancho goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Samuel Song has been cut. Sancho scores with the left hand. Song knows he should have avoided that one. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Song throws a sloppy head kick and Sancho moves out of range easily. Sancho avoids the head kick by Song.
Sancho misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Song doesn't manage to clinch there - Sancho circles away.
Sancho fails to land with a series of punches.
Sancho throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Song on the side of the head. Sancho misses with a jab, cross combination.
Song tries to clinch up but Sancho circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sancho works the jab nicely. Sancho throws a series of punches but Song avoids them all with ease. Song tries to counter with a clinch but Sancho shakes him off and moves away. A momentary lapse in concentration from Sancho enables Song to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sancho manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Song content to stall in guard here. It looks like Song might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Song stands and steps away. Sancho gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Freddy Sancho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sancho swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Song counters with a lovely shot to the body. Sancho with a nice cross. Song shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sancho tries to kick Song off in order to stand up. Song Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Sancho is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Song cracks Sancho with a big right hand but Sancho just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Song scoring with punches and elbows. Sancho parries the strikes from Song easily there. Song is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sancho to escape.
Sancho dodges the ground and pound from Song. Song working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Song landing a few strikes. Sancho trying to remain calm as Song controls from the top position. Song advances to full mount. BOOM! Song connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Song controlling from mount. Song has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sancho prevents Song from taking his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Freddy Sancho will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Samuel Song's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Song counters with a shoot takedown. Sancho fights it but they end up in guard. Sancho is wriggling around but Song manages to pass to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Song in particular looking to stall. Song works his way into full mount! Sancho taking shots to the head. Samuel Song has got the better of the ground game so far.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Song content just to control the position here. Song landing strikes from the mount. Song in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Song postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sancho looks a forlorn figure.

Sancho is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Song controlling his opponent. Oh Sancho is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sancho might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Song's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Sancho seems to have got his legs back now. Song lands a big shot there that rocks Sancho but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Song landing strikes, looking to finish! Song tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Song drops a big elbow. That's hurt Sancho! More shots from Song and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
