Rydeland fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gonzalez on the side of the head.

We've been informed that Rydeland has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Rydeland lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gonzalez backs up against the cage.

Rydeland manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gonzalez on his heels. He'll look to pass Gonzalez's guard now, I'm sure.
