The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scarn fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Augustus on the side of the head.
Augustus slips a jab and a cross from Scarn.
Augustus feints the counter takedown.
Scarn scores with a decent looking hook.
Michael Scarn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Augustus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Augustus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Augustus changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Scarn moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Scarn throws a big shot that misses.
Augustus feints the counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scarn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Augustus moves out of range of the strikes.
Augustus with the counter takedown but Scarn avoids it easily.
Augustus takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Scarn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A nice combination there by Scarn.
Augustus is rocked!
Scarn cracks Augustus on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Augustus falls backwards against the ropes. Scarn follows up with more strikes that drop Augustus to his knees. Scarn keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Augustus ! This one is all over!

Michael Scarn was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
