The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira ducks under a wild hook from Ali.
Pereira misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A jab from Ali misses.
Pereira throws out a counter right but Ali avoids it with no problem.
Pereira walks into a stiff left hand from Ali.
Ali misses with a hook. Pereira ducked under it nicely.
Pereira looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Ali misses with a looping left.
A telegraphed right hand from Ali misses the target.
Pereira staying out of range there.
Ali misses with a straight left.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pereira! But no joy.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ali darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ali connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Pereira's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Pereira - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
