PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fester Addams (ranked 3058 p4p, 129 weight class) and Pedro Guedes (ranked 7480 p4p, 147 weight class). Addams comes to the cage accompanied by Family Vales. Pedro Guedes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pedro Guedes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guedes tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Addams defends well and Guedes ends up having to push Addams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Guedes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Addams is fending him off so far but Guedes persists. Nope, Addams circles away and we're back to standing.
Addams wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Guedes shoots in but Addams avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fester Addams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Guedes.
Addams lands a glancing blow to the side of Guedes's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guedes is defended easily by Addams.

Addams misses with a hook. Guedes ducked under it nicely.
Addams bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
No luck for Guedes with that takedown attempt.
Guedes shoots in but no luck this time.

Guedes tries to keep at a distance but Addams has taken the fight into the clinch.
Guedes wants to get back to striking at distance but Addams won't allow it.
Addams is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Guedes looks winded!
Addams lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Pedro Guedes has been cut.

Addams lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

The cut above Pedro Guedes's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pedro Guedes's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
