Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moraes loads up on a big right hand but Jahr slips the punch.

A counter left hand to the body from Jahr misses its target.
Jahr swings for the body but Moraes moves out of range.
Moraes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jahr was well out of range. Poor timing from Moraes.
Moraes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Moraes throws a jab but it's blocked by Jahr.
Moraes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Moraes misses with a hook
and Jahr counters with a single leg into guard. Moraes didn't expect that.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Jahr has hold of Moraes's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Moraes tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jahr cranks the arm and Moraes screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Moraes, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Erlend Jahr!
Erlend Jahr tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
