Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Truck Boogard (ranked 5219 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Tonni (ranked 5238 p4p, 0 weight class). Truck Boogard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boogard keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tonni.
Boogard drives through with a takedown into Tonni's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tonni controls Boogard momentarily but Boogard frees himself.

Boogard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boogard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tonni has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Temp Spar Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Boogard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Boogard is looking to work some ground and pound but Tonni has wrist control.

Tonni really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boogard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Boogard lands a couple of good shots and Tonni has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Tonni is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Boogard gets his way!

Tonni feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Boogards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tonni throws a jab but it's blocked by Boogard.
Truck Boogard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tonni connects with a body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Boogard. No joy for Tonni on that attempt.
Boogard pushes Tonni up against the cage in a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Tonni tries to work over Boogard's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Tonni lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Boogard throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tonni blocks it with crossed arms.

Tonni lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Boogard is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tonni can do to turn this around?
Boogard gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Tonni wants to get back to full guard.
Tonni has hold of Boogard's hands but Boogard slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Boogard seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tonni does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Boogard prevents Tonni from improving his position.
Boogard gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Boogard lands a two punch combo.
Boogard manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tonni on his heels. He'll look to pass Tonni's guard now, I'm sure.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tonni lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boogard has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boogard and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Tonni misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tonni keeps the fight on the outside.
Boogard fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tonni sprawls well initially but Boogard persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Boogard has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tonni defend it? Boogard steps over the head and cranks it - Tonni is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Boogard!
