Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wes Riley (ranked 5264 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 24976 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wes Riley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ivan Drago! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago shoots in looking for a takedown. Riley tries to sprawl out of it but Drago keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Riley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Drago fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Riley, pushing him back against the cage. A short uppercut from Riley. Drago is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Riley has had enough of the clinch but Drago keeps him there for the moment. Drago is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Riley to keep the fight standing. Riley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drago controlling the action here for a moment.
A frustrated look appears on Riley's face as he tries to break the clinch. Riley can't break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drago is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Wes Riley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Drago. Riley lands on the inside with an uppercut. Drago pushes Riley back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Riley looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Drago manages to pull guard.
Drago working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Riley. Riley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Drago has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Riley has managed to get both his arms back between Drago's legs - danger averted. Riley throwing strikes but missing. Riley in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Riley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drago is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Riley trying to control the position from guard on top but Drago is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Riley not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Riley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drago's waist but Drago gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Riley off to one side. Drago has a takedown stuffed. Riley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Drago avoids it really well and circles away. Drago tries to counter by closing the distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Drago shoots in but Riley avoids the takedown attempt easily. Riley wants to clinch. Drago closes the distance and pushes Riley back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drago is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Riley is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Drago ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Drago no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Drago has Riley pulled in close to control his posture. Drago looking for a guillotine here but Riley defends easily.
Riley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Drago works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Drago is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Drago defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Riley. Drago is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Drago misses with a head kick.

Riley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ivan Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riley rushes Drago and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riley is looking to break free of the clinch but Drago has double underhooks. Drago wants to stall.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Riley looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Drago decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Riley walks into a stiff left hand from Drago.
It looks like Wes Riley has been cut. Drago takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Drago takes the fight into the clinch. Riley tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riley managing to block the knees to the body from Drago.
Drago is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Wes Riley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Drago. Drago jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Riley walks away with a smile on his face. Drago gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Drago shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Riley pinned against the cage. Riley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Drago shoots for a takedown but Riley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Drago tries for a takedown but Riley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Drago is breathing heavily. A swing and a miss from Drago. Riley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Drago. That did some damage!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riley misses with a body kick. Riley closes the distance and clinches. Drago breaks from the clinch.
Riley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Drago gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Riley counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Riley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Drago throws a wild body kick that Riley sees coming a mile off. Riley lands with a nice combination. Drago backs away looking to recover. Riley with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Drago tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Riley swivels and escapes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good leg kick by Riley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Riley is looking to clinch but Drago is avoiding it.
Drago circles away from the clinch attempt and Drago counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Riley pushes Drago off and gets back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Riley thumps Drago with a low kick. Drago closes the distance and clinches. Drago manages to break the clinch.

Wes Riley dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Wes Riley's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Riley throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Drago checks the leg kick nicely there.
Drago is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Drago shoots and misses and Riley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Riley throws a hook but Drago avoids it easily. Riley throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Riley misses with a takedown attempt - Drago sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drago shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Riley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drago takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Drago postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Is there anything that Drago can do to turn this around? Drago engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Riley keeping moving, preventing Drago from controlling successfully.

Riley throws a nice outside leg kick. Drago fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Riley, pushing him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Good exchange - Drago coming out on top. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drago. Wes Riley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Drago. A head kick from Riley lands but Drago takes it in his stride. Riley misses with an attempted mid kick.

Riley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Riley drives through and clinches with Drago against the cage.
A knee to the head by Riley.
Riley lands with a short head shot on the inside. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Riley with a knee to the head.
Drago has Riley pressed against the cage, preventing Riley from circling away and getting back to striking at range. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Riley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Riley darts in and clinches Drago up against the cage. Riley connects with a knee to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Wes Riley showed his dominance in that final round. I think Riley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
