Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimi Loiri (ranked 1074 p4p, 39 weight class) and Jimmu Tenno Hantei (ranked 968 p4p, 36 weight class). Hantei has chosen Triarii - Emperor Of The Sun as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hantei throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Loiri sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Loiri looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hantei takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Jimmu Tenno Hantei has been cut.
Loiri slips under a jab.
Loiri dodges the punch combination from Hantei.
Loiri will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Loiri throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hantei counters with a straight right hand.
Hantei scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Loiri doesn't seem bothered though.
Loiri closes the distance and clinches.
Hantei tries to circle away but Loiri has him pinned against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hantei pushes Loiri back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hantei's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Loiri shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Loiri showed some decent athleticism there.
Loiri looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hantei is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Loiri's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Loiri's back!
Loiri just trying to survive but Hantei is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Hantei. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

You can see the frustration on Loiri's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hantei doesn't have the hooks in and Loiri manages to turn into his guard.

Hantei throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Loiri on the side of the head.
Loiri uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hantei.

Loiri shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hantei sprawls well. Hantei wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Loiri gets slowly back to his feet.

Loiri does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Hantei uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Loiri.

Hantei sends Loiri crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hantei is motioning to the referee to let Loiri up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

and Hantei counters with a huge left! Loiri is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hantei isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Loiri from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hantei!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmu Tenno Hantei!
A relieved looking Jimmu Tenno Hantei thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
