Mcgregor connects with a high kick.
Mcgregor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rodriguez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nice uppercut there from Mcgregor.
Mcgregor throws a head kick that Rodriguez semi-blocks.
Mcgregor looks to land a body kick but Rodriguez moved away.

Conor Mcgregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgregor drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rodriguez jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Mcgregor misses with a head kick.
Rodriguez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mcgregor stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Rodriguez keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mcgregor swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rodriguez throws a shot to the body.
Mcgregor throws a leg kick but Rodriguez sees it coming and moves out of range.
Mcgregor throws a hook but Rodriguez avoids it easily.
Rodriguez is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Mcgregor like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Mcgregor from another fist facial!
