Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Patterson (ranked 22084 p4p, 552 weight class) and Nick Dual (ranked 22558 p4p, 546 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nick Dual was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dual moves into range and clinches up with Patterson.
Patterson avoiding damage as Dual throws knees to the body.
Patterson blocks the elbow strike.
Dual scores with a shoulder strike.
Dual lands an elbow inside.

Patterson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Dual connects with a knee to the head.

Dual is pressed up against the ropes. Patterson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dual down to the mat. Dual avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Dual lands an elbow that stopped Patterson in his tracks for a moment.

Dual gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Patterson.
Patterson is breathing heavily.
Dual lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Patterson to his knees! Dual keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
